Taking the Time to Care

Of all caregiver relationships, perhaps nothing is quite so personal as the one a woman has with her gynecologist / obstetrician.  That is why it so important to me to take the time and listen to my patients.

If you are looking for a gynecologist/obstetrician, or have particular issues related to menopause or osteoporosis, I invite you to call for an appointment.

I accept many major insurance plans.

For a complete list of the plans accepted, and to learn more about my policies concerning insurance, click here.

Obstetrics
Pregnancy and childbirth are very exciting times in a person’s life. But just like all things in life, it takes a little bit of time and preparation to get pregnant. There are a few things you can do for yourself to adopt a healthy lifestyle prior to conception and throughout your pregnancy. (See Obstetrics and Pregnancy / Obstetrics FAQ)

Trouble Getting Pregnant?
Menopause
Menopause can be confusing time when a woman’s hormones begin to decline. These changes can result in depression, mood disorders, and hot flashes, changes in libido, vaginal dryness and urinary incontinence. (See Urinary Incontinence - FAQ) For symptom relief, some women opt to take hormones (also known as hormone replacement therapy or simply ‘HRT’) while others prefer to take natural supplements or nothing at all. There is no right answer, which is why we will work together to develop an individualized regimen that best suits your needs. (See Menopause and Menopause - FAQ)

Osteoporosis
Often called the silent killer, Osteoporosis is disease process resulting in bone loss and fragility that affects over 20 million Americans. Osteoporosis remains silent until a fracture occurs as a result of fragile bones. It is estimated that over 50% of women over the age of 50 will suffer from an osteoporosis related fracture. However, much can be done to prevent problems with osteoporosis. By working together we can develop a program that best suits your needs and abilities.  Let me help you keep the “silent killer” silent. (See Osteoporosis and Osteoporosis - FAQ.)
